Huntington Beach State Park

Follow the Sculptured Oak Nature Trail at Myrtle Beach State Park to see one of the last stands of maritime forest on the northern coast of South Carolina. Biking, sea kayaking and fishing are also possible activities. Walk along the iconic causeway at Huntington Beach State Park to view the birds and alligators that live in the marsh. Take part in a Coastal Exploration Program with a naturalist to learn about the park’s wildlife.

Explore the waters of the area using a canoe or kayak.

Navigate the obstacles at Radical Ropes Adventure Park. Soar 50 feet above water at Soar & Explore, which is part of WonderWorks at Boardwalk at the Beach. There’s also a three-level ropes course.

The Ripken Experience Myrtle Beach offers nine replica baseball fields of historic Major League ballparks like the Polo Grounds, Ebbets Field and Westside Grounds. Participants take advantage of multiple batting cages, bullpens and training facilities. The Ripken Experience is perfect for tournaments and baseball camps.

The John T. Rhodes Myrtle Beach Sports Center in the heart of the city includes eight basketball courts and 16 volleyball courts. The center can host wrestling, gymnastics, table tennis and pickle ball.

The area has more the 35 elaborately themed miniature golf courses depicting pirates, volcanoes and dinosaurs.
