Michigan’s Upper Peninsula Travel & Recreation Association (UPTRA) is an award winning, nonprofit organization established in 1911 for the sole purpose of marketing Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. UPTRA offers assistance planning group tours for the entire Upper Peninsula including Mackinac Island and Isle Royale. UPTRA also offers FAMS, liaisons with local CVB’s, color slides, digital images and a comprehensive travel planner and website. When you enter Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, you enter a world of finest attractions and unique experiences unmatched anywhere in the Midwest. The rich and colorful history of the region, coupled with scenic splendor still unspoiled, provides something for everyone.
